something special for her best friend.

To My Best Friend

Life is seldom easy for most of us
Always unpredictable...often unfair
But whatever the future may hold for me
I know you will always be there

Our friendship has deepened through the years
We've grown up, taken jobs and married as well
But the miles and our problems just fade away

We've laughed and fought and giggled and cried
You've been my best friend, my anchor through life
No matter what paths our lives may now take
Our friendship will weather the years and the strife
