"A Love Letter"

This was my first poem, written to my husband for

Valentine's Day 1996.  I didn't realize it at the time,

but it can be for a man or a woman.  Choose your

background and matte colors.

A Love Letter To

"put your sweetheart's name here"

I...don't often take the time to tell you just how much you mean to me.  "I love you" is easy to say but what I feel goes deeper.

L...oving you has changed my life forever.  We are living proof that opposites do attract.
O...nly a very patient person could ignore my temper tantrums and then quietly set me right.
V...ery often, I am a perfectionist, unfairly requiring perfection of you as well.
E...veryone searches for happiness; you have taught me that happiness is inside us, all we have to do is let it happen.

Y...ou are the center of my life, the most important part of my day and night.
O...nly you can truly understand me.  Knowing all of my faults and loving me still.
U...nassuming, supportive, loyal, steadfast...you are all of this and so much more.  You are my best friend and sweetheart.
